Today I’m reviewing Creating Character Arcs by K.M. Weiland.

And I have to tell you this is truly an excellent book for anyone who wants to write fiction, whether it’s prose or screenplays.

This book essentially gives you the tools to construct a plot and incorporate character at the same time. And it does so in a very clever way. And it discusses the different types of plots, the different types of stories you might choose to tell and how those things can be conveyed through the use of these simple (relatively) techniques. The simplicity is in the ideas. The execution is another matter entirely, of course.

But this is truly one of the best books I’ve ever read that talks about both plot construction and character, and I highly recommend it for anybody who is interested in writing fiction or screenplays.

And that’ll do it for this week. I’ll talk to you later.

And by the way I forgot to say my video includes affiliate links where you can buy the book if you want to. I bought it. It’s well worth it. Believe me!
